Volunteer Opportunities and the Appointment Process

 

Town Committee Appointments

All town boards and committees consist of residents of Rockland. These volunteers work toward solving complex issues and recommending policy that helps to shape the kind of community in which we live. Rockland is fortunate to have many volunteers whose skill and technical knowledge can be applied in the Town. There are various opportunities available, which may correspond with your expertise and/or interest. Terms of office vary from one to three years.

Appointment Process

If you would like to be a part of our Town Government, please start the process for appointment by completing the Committee Application Form and returning it to the selectmen's office at town hall. It is recommended that you attend a board or committee of interest to you before submitting an application.
