The Town of Rockland, MA has declared various used equipment and vehicles as surplus and available for sale. Surplus supplies include cars, trucks, heavy equipment, and a used fuel management system. Interested parties must participate in an on-line auction. No offers can be made directly to the Town of Rockland. All surplus supplies will be available for physical inspection Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays between 8:30AM – 3:00PM, beginning on Monday, September 18, 2023, at the Rockland Recycling Center, 1000 Beech Street, Rockland, MA 02370. The auction will start on Monday September 18, 2023 and end on Monday October 2, 2023. The surplus supplies are being sold “As Is” with no warranties expressed or implied. The surplus supplies will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the highest price. The Town of Rockland reserves the right to reject any and all bids if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. In addition, the Town reserves the right to reject bids and to dispose of a vehicle through a negotiated sale, provided that the negotiated sale price is higher than the highest bid received from a responsive bidder. All bidders must submit a signed Non-Collusion Form with their bid. This auction is being conducted per MGL Chapter 30B, Section 15.
