Are Old Prescriptions Crowding Your Medicine Cabinet?
The Rockland Police Department now offers free, anonymous disposal of unused prescription medication that are no longer needed safely.

Opiates and psychoactive drugs are urgent priorities!
Do not flush drugs down household toilets, ground water is being contaminated. Bring them to our convenient drop off box and look for the green receptacle located in the Police Department lobby at 490 Market Street, Rockland, MA.
We are open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
Examples of accepted drugs:
- Pet Medications
- Prescription Liquids in unbreakable, leak–proof containers

These collected drugs will be safely destroyed. Any questions, please contact dispatch at (781) 871-3890. No transportation, please call and a detective will pick them up.
