The office of Town Collector is responsible for the collection of all Real Estate, Personal Property and Motor Vehicle Excise tax and all Utility payments. All monies collected are deposited on a daily basis.
The Town Collector has the authority to hire Deputy Collectors to aid in the collection of delinquent taxes.
The Town Collector' office is also responsible for issuing Municipal Lien Certificates.

The mission of the Town Collector's office is to provide the highest level of customer service and support to all taxpayers, residents, employees, retirees, vendors and customers, while satisfying all of the legal requirements set forth in Massachusetts General Laws and the Town's by-laws.
